In preparation for its 175^th Anniversary, Richmond Fair unveiled the first mural celebrating the history of agriculture during its 168th edition in September 2024. This mural was painted by Amanda Bushey and Danny Perkins.

This mural represents the history and progression of agriculture throughout the years. Adding murals to the fairgrounds is a way to make our space more engaging while adding beauty and inspiration through the arts to our surroundings. Younger generations will be able to learn about the history of farming through some of the topics covered in the murals. And for older generations, it will bring back memories.
